Dublin Airport is the busiest airport in Ireland and handles over 60,000 passengers in a day. It provides all the services required to make it an airport of international standards and comprehensively caters to all customers’ needs.  

Freight and cargo

Agencies like Multi Cargo Limited, Emerald Freight Express, Worldwide Flight Services and IPS provide freight and cargo services at Dublin Airport. Thousands of tonnes of cargo are handled by the airport each year, with excellent warehouse space and quick import and export clearance.

Internet access

Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 offer free Wi Fi zones (wireless broadband services) at multiple locations. In order to access free wireless internet, just find or type in Dublin Airport Free Wi Fi or eircom in the network field of your device. Besides this, there are Surfbox internet kiosks and printing facilities available at many accessible places in the airport. In Terminal 1, these facilities are available at the Arrivals Hall, Departures Hall and mezzanine before security check and at specific gates after the security check. In Terminal 2, these facilities are available at the check-in floor and arrivals floor before security check and at the International Departures Lounge, gates 400 to 425 and after US pre-clearance after the security check.

Lost and found

The airport police at Dublin Airport will help you with any lost and found property. The airport police station is located on the arrivals level and is open from 7.00 am until 10.00 pm. However, you will need to contact your airline if you leave any items behind on the aircraft.

Disability access and facilities

The Dublin Airport Authority is committed to making air travel easier and accessible for people with reduced mobility. If you need any assistance you can go to a One Complete Solution help desk. There is one located on the right side of entry Door 2 of Terminal 1 and another in the Check-In Hall of Terminal 2. The airport needs to be informed of assistance requirements at least 48 hours prior to departure, you can do this by notifying your airline or travel agent. There are many Help Points at various locations which you can use to ask for assistance - these help points are essentially blue boxes with intercom buttons.

Religious services

There is a Multi-Faith Prayer Room in Terminal 2, located on the departures level before the boarding pass area.  This quiet space is available 24 hours a day and can be accessed by people of any faith and is sensitively equipped for different kinds of prayer practices. Please note that there are rules around using this room, such as removing your shoes and switching off your mobile phones before entering, and no lighting of candles or incense sticks.
